DPG Media intends to acquire the activities of Viaplay Netherlands. Videoland will thereby expand its offering with sports rights and programming from Viaplay Netherlands.

After completion of the acquisition, live sports rights, among other things, will be integrated into Videoland. The source cites Formula 1, football from the English Premier League and PDC Darts as examples. For Viaplay subscribers, nothing will change for the time being; they will retain access to their current subscription and app.

Viaplay Netherlands currently employs around 50 people. They will transfer to DPG Media. The acquisition is subject to the usual approval procedures.

Kompas Publishing has announced that the VIVA media brand will be relaunched as an online platform in September 2026. The brand was active for many years as a magazine and website but was taken offline in 2021 after the print edition was discontinued in 2019. In 2024, Kompas Publishing acquired the title.

According to the publisher, VIVA’s original concept will remain intact: a platform where a wide range of topics can be openly discussed. In addition to editorial content, the renewed platform will also feature contributions from its community. The existing VIVA Forum, which has remained active since the website went offline, will continue to play an important role.

The new VIVA is aimed at women aged 28 and older and will cover topics such as relationships, work, health, identity, personal finance, travel, fashion, and personal experiences. The publisher is also exploring additional formats, including podcasts, video content, events, and potentially a return to print in the future. The new website will be available at viva.nl from September 2026.

As of June 1, the advertising sales of Ons Amsterdam have been transferred to Bureau van Vliet. Ons Amsterdam is published by Walburg Pers and appears ten times a year. The title focuses on the past and present of Amsterdam, featuring stories about the city's history, notable locations and its residents.

The brand consists of a magazine, website and newsletter. The print magazine has a circulation of 11,000 copies and reaches approximately 28,600 readers. The website attracts an average of 20,000 unique visitors per month. According to readership research, the core audience consists of highly educated readers with an average age of 50. The title is read intensively and is regarded by many readers as an important source of information on developments in the city.

For media planners, the next 100 days promise a period of consecutive audience peaks and strong demand for visibility. The FIFA World Cup (11 June–19 July), Wimbledon (29 June–12 July) and the Tour de France (4–26 July) will dominate much of the summer, followed by WorldPride Amsterdam (25 July–8 August) and the final edition of the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort (21–23 August). At the same time, staggered school holidays and major festivals such as North Sea Jazz, Zwarte Cross and Lowlands will add to the seasonal media activity.

In the calendar below, we highlight the key media moments and planning opportunities for the months ahead.

Agrio launched its new brand and online platform, Sterke Erven, on 2 June 2026. The move brings together nine existing agricultural publications and websites under a single name and digital platform.

The titles Vee&Gewas, Veldpost, Stal&Akker, Agraaf, Melkvee, Akkerwijzer, PigBusiness, Pluimveeweb, and Ekoland will henceforth operate under the umbrella brand Sterke Erven. For the print editions, the change mainly involves a new name and refreshed design. Online, the individual websites have been consolidated into one central platform.

According to Agrio, the existing content offering and editorial quality will remain unchanged. News, background articles, and industry information will continue to be available for the various agricultural sectors and regions. Within the new platform, visitors can browse content by sector, including arable farming, dairy farming, poultry, pig farming, and organic agriculture, as well as by regional categories.

The platform also offers personalization features. Users can select the sectors and regions they wish to follow, allowing the homepage content to be tailored to their preferences. Subscribers will have access to articles from all sectors and regions available on the platform.

With the introduction of Sterke Erven, Agrio takes the next step in the development of its agricultural media activities and the integration of its existing brands.

Kiesjefolders has expanded its advertising offering with two new opportunities, effective from [date]. Advertisers can now make use of Direct Mail campaigns via PostNL and the Native Ad Plus proposition within the Mediahuis network.

Both solutions leverage Kiesjefolders’ opt-in consumer database, enabling campaigns to be targeted based on interest profiles and geographic characteristics. Advertising options and rates are available in Retriever.

Uitgeverij Em. de Jong Continues Under the Name Em. de Jong Media. Em. de Jong will henceforth operate under the name Em. de Jong Media. The name change is accompanied by a refreshed corporate identity, a new logo, a new website, and a new office location.

According to the company, the new name better reflects its current activities. In addition to publishing local weekly newspapers, the organization is also active in online news, digital campaigns, content marketing, and other forms of communication.

With the new name, Em. de Jong Media aims to reflect its evolution from a traditional publishing house into a broader media organization.

On April 2, Cross Media Nederland B.V. launched the first edition of De Nieuwe Praktijk, a new special publication distributed with Medisch Contact. The magazine focuses on innovations and developments in general practice care and highlights the role digital applications play in today’s and tomorrow’s medical practice.

De Nieuwe Praktijk features practical experiences, insights, and forward-looking solutions for general practitioners and GP trainees. The publication covers topics such as digitalization, technological innovation, and the future of primary healthcare.

The special reaches approximately 12,000 practicing general practitioners, GP trainees, and other professionals within primary healthcare.

SPILNEWS launched Hotline on May 12, 2026, a new online video series in which young creators share their unfiltered opinions on social issues. In the format, five creators respond to statements and questions submitted by the editorial team and the community. The series is distributed via TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, featuring longer episodes on YouTube alongside shorter social snippets. According to SPILNEWS, Hotline has been developed as a contemporary form of opinion journalism in which the voices and perspectives of young people take center stage.

SPILNEWS was launched by Mediahuis in June 2025 under the name SPIL as a journalistic platform aimed at young people aged 15 to 25. The initiative originated from research showing that many young people are looking for reliable news, while at the same time feeling insufficiently informed and concerned about fake news. Through TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, podcasts, and its own platform, SPILNEWS aims to support young people in forming opinions and developing media awareness. With Hotline, the brand has now placed a strong emphasis on interaction and the social engagement of the younger generation.

Mediahuis Nederland will launch a pilot with pick-up points for printed daily newspapers on Vlieland and Schiermonnikoog from 1 July 2026. This will ensure that printed newspapers remain available for subscribers and retail sales on both islands.

The measure follows changes in PostNL’s services. From July onwards, the postal company will stop providing 24-hour delivery to the islands and will no longer deliver mail there on Saturdays and Mondays. As a result, newspapers would often arrive one or more days late.

In recent years, Mediahuis used PostNL for newspaper distribution because regular home delivery on the islands had proved unfeasible. According to the publisher, a newspaper that is delivered structurally late is not a sustainable solution. Together with local entrepreneurs, Mediahuis therefore looked for an alternative.

During the pilot, subscribers will be able to collect their newspaper daily from a local pick-up point. On Vlieland, this will be supermarket Poiesz, while on Schiermonnikoog the pick-up point will be Kolstein lifestyle & boeken. The pilot will be evaluated every three months.

As Mediahuis is responsible for the distribution of daily newspapers in the north of the Netherlands, subscribers to DPG Media newspapers will also be able to use this solution. DPG Media will contact its subscribers separately about the change.

Subscribers who do not wish to use the pick-up points can switch to a digital subscription. Single-copy newspaper sales will remain available.

Kompas Publishing has completed two acquisitions within the lifestyle segment. On 1 May 2026, the company acquired the festival platform Festival Fans, followed by the addition of travel platform Reisjunk to its portfolio on 12 May 2026.

Festival Fans focuses on festivals in the electro, (deep) house, hardstyle, pop, rock, and techno scenes across the Netherlands and Belgium. The platform provides visitors with information on ticket sales, line-ups, and festival experiences. Through this acquisition, Kompas Publishing adds an established festival platform within the Dutch and Belgian music scene to its portfolio.

Founded in 2014 as a travel blog, Reisjunk has grown into a professional content platform featuring contributions from bloggers, photographers, and content creators. Kompas Publishing plans to further develop the platform with new content formats, including travel videos and practical travel tools, while also focusing on broader distribution and scaling its reach.

Reisjunk founders Greg and Irene will remain strategically involved with the platform. According to Kompas Publishing, both acquisitions align with its existing focus on online media in the lifestyle, seniors, young families, education, and shopping sectors. With these additions, the company strengthens its position within online communities centered around travel, festivals, and leisure activities.

Publisher BouwMedia will launch Architectuur & Bouw at the end of May, a new magazine aimed at readers involved in building, renovating or developing their own home. The publication is published twice a year with a circulation of 10,000 copies. The first edition consists of 164 pages and includes twenty features on residential properties and construction projects in the Netherlands.

The new title replaces Casco Magazine and continues the same formula. The magazine combines architecture reports, personal stories and articles on topics including sustainable living, interiors, prefab construction, garden design and sustainable heating. Architects, builders and other professionals contribute from their respective fields.

Architectuur & Bouw will be available through kiosks and magazine shops. The magazine will also be distributed through trade fairs, showrooms, partners and subscription channels. Online orders are available through the webshop of Bouwkavelsonline.nl.

&C introduced a renewed magazine and a rebranding as of April 2026. With a new logo and an updated visual identity, the design of &C has been changed across the magazine, on andc.tv, and on its social media channels.

The visual identity was developed by Studio Dorien Franken. This included a redesign of the ampersand symbol and the letter “C,” as well as the introduction of a color palette of 24 shades for use in both print and online. Imagery and cover style have also been updated. The new style is intended for consistent use across all expressions, including print, online, social media, podcasts, products, and events. Within these channels, branded content and advertising propositions have remained unchanged following the rebranding.

The rebranding was realized in collaboration with Debby Nobel (Head of Content at &C Media) and Marco Geeratz (co-founder of &C Media).

As of 17 April 2026, JAWEL Media B.V. is responsible for the advertising sales of the Nieuw Israëlietisch Weekblad (NIW), which is published by Stichting NIW.

The Nieuw Israëlietisch Weekblad has been the voice of the Jewish community in the Netherlands since 1865. The weekly publication features opinion pieces, background articles, and personal stories.

Within the community, the publication is often passed on to family and friends, resulting in a broad reach among Jewish people in the Netherlands.

Roularta Media Nederland launched the Plus & Zin Cultuur newsletter at the end of March 2026. The newsletter is aimed at the 50-plus audience and focuses on culture.

The newsletter is published one to three times per week, on Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday. At launch, it has a circulation of 27,500 subscribers. Plus & Zin Cultuur is an addition to the existing Plus newsletter portfolio, which includes the PlusOnline Newsletter (304,000 subscribers), the Plus Health Newsletter, the Money & Law Newsletter, and the Leisure Newsletter.

Kompas Publishing acquired full ownership of Datumprikker from Sky is the Limit Investments on April 21, 2026, following an earlier joint acquisition in September 2023.

The acquisition follows a strategic reorientation by the investor, resulting in the scheduling platform becoming fully owned by Kompas Publishing.

Datumprikker’s strategy is shifting toward the business market. The platform will focus on applications for organizations and teams, with an emphasis on structured planning and integration with calendar systems. The advertising propositions remain unchanged.

In addition, a renewed version of the platform is in development, alongside international expansion via the English-language variant, Cally.

Golf Media further expands its network of digital screens at golf clubs in the Netherlands. The company, which has been active in Belgium since 2021, focuses on communication within golf environments.

Golfbaan Stippelberg in North Brabant has been the first Dutch location since September 2025. The network now includes 15 golf clubs across the country. Further expansion is planned for the summer of 2026.

The network reaches a specific target group of golfers. In the Netherlands, approximately 460,000 people are registered as golfers, a large proportion of whom are men aged between 40 and 70 with relatively high spending power.

The screens are placed at strategic locations within the golf clubs, such as clubhouses and along walking routes. As a result, visitors are exposed to messages multiple times during their visit. Thousands of contacts are generated per location each week.

Thanks to its presence across multiple locations, nationwide coverage is possible, allowing for targeted communication within this audience.

As of March 12, VMN Media has acquired Telecompaper, a B2B platform focused on news, data, and market research within the telecom, media, and technology sectors. Telecompaper will continue to operate as an independent brand, retaining its existing team and services.

The platform has an international reach via its website (approximately 300,000 monthly visitors, of which around 70,000 are from the Netherlands) and daily newsletters. In addition to content and research, Telecompaper offers advertising opportunities through display advertising, email newsletters targeting telecom professionals, and partner content options.

The acquisition strengthens VMN Media’s position in data-driven B2B information and specialized business audiences.

Talpa Media and KPN are making it possible, for the first time, to advertise around Eredivisie highlights within KPN TV+ and the KPN app. This opens up a previously non-commercial environment to advertisers.

Campaigns appear around highlights and goal alerts, both via the set-top box (TV) and on mobile. As viewers enter directly after goals, this creates highly engaging contact moments.

The launch coincides with the final phase of the Eredivisie season and provides access to premium sports content with reach and impact across multiple screens.

As of March 1, 2026, “Ouders van Nu” has been transferred from DPG Media to Pijper Media. The acquisition includes oudersvannu.nl, the social media channels of Ouders van Nu, and Zwanger magazine. All employees have moved to the new publisher.

For media planners, this means the brand will now fall under Pijper Media. Editorially, the direction remains unchanged, and the full editorial team stays on board, ensuring continuity. DPG Media will continue to provide technical support through the existing web and app platform until the end of 2026.

The acquisition aligns with the brand’s ongoing digital development and with Pijper Media’s strategic focus on the (young) parents segment.

Bloom Publishing will take over the website Vogue.nl from publisher Mood for Magazines as of March 1. With this move, the media company now holds the full license for Vogue Netherlands.

Bloom Publishing already obtained the license for the magazines Vogue and Vogue Living in 2022 and has since collaborated with Mood for Magazines for the online activities.

With the acquisition, Vogue Netherlands aims to further strengthen the collaboration between print and online and expand the brand’s 360° approach by bringing editorial teams and content creation together.

On 30 June 2026, the international men’s brand GQ will enter the Dutch market. In the Netherlands, the title will be published by the newly established FRANK Publishing, based in Amsterdam.

Founded in New York in 1957, GQ has grown into a globally leading brand in men’s fashion, culture and luxury. GQ Netherlands positions itself as a premium men’s platform for style, culture, technology and success, targeting an affluent urban audience of men aged 25–45.

The brand will be published six times a year in print (excluding specials) and will simultaneously launch a digital platform featuring display, video, branded content and social media. From the outset, GQ will be positioned as a cross-media platform, combining print, online and social.

After several years of absence, L’HOMO. is returning to the media landscape. The magazine for the LGBTQIA+ community will be published on April 23, 2026; its social media channels are already live. With this relaunch, LINDA. once again provides a platform for visibility, connection, and inclusivity. L’HOMO. is aimed at everyone who identifies within the rainbow spectrum — or wants to get to know it (better). L’HOMO. is published once a year and will be available in stores for twelve weeks.

On 26 March 2026, Roularta Media Nederland will launch the new special Extra. This luxury lifestyle series is published four times a year, each edition built around a single timeless theme. Every issue combines journalistic features, strong photography and a calm design into a thematic collector’s edition. In addition to the print edition, Extra is also available digitally via EW Digital Only and the MijnMagazines app.

Extra targets an affluent, engaged and culturally interested readership. Its readers are critical, curious and prefer to form their own opinions. The magazine reaches 180,000 readers per edition, including entrepreneurs, business decision-makers and high-income households with a broad interest in culture, travel, comfort and gastronomy. They approach their spending consciously and thoughtfully.

DPG Media Advertising has expanded its self-service platform Ad Manager with three new AI tools within Smart Studio. These tools enable campaign visuals to be enhanced using AI, contributing to better results and greater efficiency.

The new features support different stages of the creative process. With Image Animation, subtle motion can be added to static images, making advertisements stand out more without losing their character. Image Expansion uses AI to automatically extend campaign visuals and adapt them to a wide range of advertising formats. In addition, Image Variants makes it possible to generate multiple versions of an advertisement, allowing advertisers to more easily test which execution best matches a specific target audience.

The tools can be used for Seamless Ads, advertising formats that visually blend into the editorial environment in which they are placed.

In this way, DPG Media responds to the growing demand for scalable and efficient production of campaign materials. At the same time, the company emphasizes that control remains with the user. The AI applications are deployed within its own local media network, which DPG Media positions as an alternative to international tech platforms within what it calls the “Trusted Web.”

WIJ Special Media B.V. has been acquired by the Belgian company N2COM SA. Through this acquisition, both organisations combine their activities in the Netherlands and Belgium, with the aim of enabling further growth into other European countries. WIJ Special Media and N2COM will continue to operate under their own brands and remain focused on their respective home markets, while cooperating and sharing expertise where possible.

The management of WIJ Special Media will remain in the hands of Anja Schuttert and Marcel Bakker, who will work closely with Edouard Gilain, CEO of N2COM. WIJ Special Media will also continue its close connection with Prénatal and is well known for initiatives such as the Blije Doos and WIJ.nl. In Belgium, N2COM operates under the Babyboom brand and offers a mix of sampling, online and print media, as well as events.

Hearst Netherlands has entered into a partnership with Opt Out Advertising as its AdTech partner. Through this collaboration, Hearst adds a new technology to its online advertising offering that operates without tracking or the use of personal data.

Opt Out Advertising provides an advertising solution in which campaigns are delivered without tracking individual users. Ads are based on context and reach rather than personal profiles. This aligns with the growing focus on privacy within digital advertising.

The technical and operational integrations have now been completed. Interested advertisers can immediately purchase consentless campaigns across titles such as Bicycling, Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Men’s Health, National Geographic, Quest, Quote and Runner’s World. This new solution falls within Hearst Netherlands’ existing rate structure.

The acquisition of Mood for Magazines B.V. by DPG Media has been finalized. As a result, LINDA. and LINDA.meiden, together with Vogue.nl, have become part of DPG Media’s portfolio.

Linda de Mol will remain closely involved with the brand and the current editorial leadership. The editorial teams will now form part of the News Media & Magazines business unit.

As of 1 February 2026, the titles have moved to Mediavaert in Amsterdam. With this step, the strong cross-media brand LINDA. gains a future-proof foundation within DPG Media, creating room for further digital and editorial development.

From week 2 of 2026, new submission and publication dates will apply to a number of Zeeuws door-to-door newspapers, including De Scheldepost. From that point on, advertisements must be submitted by Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the latest. Distribution of the newspaper will take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The adjusted schedule also applies to De Reimerwaalse Bode, De Middelburgse & Veerse Bode, Het Gele Krantje, De Goese Bode / De Borselse Bode and De Vlissingse Bode. These titles fall under Zeeuws Mediacentrum, the new publisher of the aforementioned door-to-door newspapers.

On 23 April, Leefstijl van Morgen will be launched, a new digital consumer magazine (digizine) published by Medsuna. The title targets men and women aged 25 to 68 with an interest in health, nutrition, mental resilience and work–life balance.

Medsuna, the publisher of this new health-focused title, is part of a medical publishing group that has been active for more than 30 years in continuing education for physicians and nurses. The content of Leefstijl van Morgen is based on current scientific insights, translated into practical and accessible information for a broad audience.

Leefstijl van Morgen is published five times a year and distributed entirely digitally via a combination of online consumer channels and targeted email newsletters, with additional access via an app. In this way, the title reaches approximately 400,000 consumers. In addition to display advertising, advertorials and branded content are also available to advertisers.

SPAR Holding has appointed RetailMedia.One as the exclusive partner for the exploitation of SPAR retail media. This means that RetailMedia.One will now handle advertising sales and act as the main point of contact for campaigns within the SPAR network. For media planners and advertisers, this primarily brings clarity, as requests and campaigns are managed through a single party, while SPAR focuses on further professionalising its retail media offering. In practice, this involves a mix of in-store and online channels, such as digital screens in multiple locations throughout the store and in-store print.

RetailMedia.One already works with SPAR University, the formula aimed at Gen Z and students, which is present on 15 campuses in the Netherlands, including Delft, Rotterdam and Amsterdam.

GrootMedia will launch the free local newspaper Groot Leeuwarden on 22 January 2026. Groot Leeuwarden offers daily up-to-date local news via the website grootleeuwarden.nl and publishes a monthly print edition featuring in-depth stories. The newspaper is distributed door-to-door every month within the municipality of Leeuwarden, with a circulation of 55,000 copies. It focuses on stories from the region, by and for all residents. The price for a full-colour full-page (1/1 page) advertisement is €1,250. Groot Leeuwarden is part of the GrootMedia network, which includes several Frisian titles.

Bureau Van Vliet B.V. will handle advertising sales for ERM (Elektro Retail Magazine) and Gen.Magazine (Gen.) as of 1 January 2026. ERM is the trade magazine for the Dutch electrical retail sector and is aimed at online and offline retailers, independent retailers and other market players. The magazine is published 11 times a year with a circulation of 1,690 copies and is supported by the ERM newsletter and the ERMonline.nl website, which provides daily news and industry updates. The 1/1 FC 2026 rate is € 2,925. Gen.Magazine (Gen.) is aimed at highly educated readers, mainly men (75%), and experienced researchers, and is published 4 times a year with a circulation of 8,000 copies. The 1/1 FC 2026 rate is € 2,225.

Talpa Network has acquired the exclusive rights to all GLORY live streams in 2026. The live events (kickboxing) and additional content will be offered via KIJK, with a Dutch-language viewing experience. The partnership starts on 7 February 2026 with GLORY 105: Last Heavyweight Standing Finals.

For the live streams, KIJK applies a Pay Per View model, allowing the platform to expand its offering with premium live content alongside its existing programming. For advertisers, KIJK is part of the Talpa Media Video Network, offering video inventory including pre-, mid- and post-rolls (including bumper formats) around video content, delivered on mobile and (smart) TV. Advertising opportunities and costs can be found in Retriever.

The Special WIJ Baby is a new annual publication by WIJ Special Media, created especially for expectant parents. The special is published once a year and will be distributed via the “Blije Doos” between February 2026 and January 2027. With a circulation of 125,000 copies (52 pages), the magazine offers reliable information and inspiration about the first period with a newborn baby, including tips on sleep, feeding, care and recovery, complemented by personal stories and practical checklists.

As of 1 January 2026, the entire Digital Out-of-Home network of Bereik DOOH will be acquired by Centercom Buitenreclame. From that date, the network will continue under the name Centercom Digital.

The acquisition means that the digital network will be added to Centercom’s existing outdoor portfolio, which includes both analogue and digital assets. Centercom operates a nationwide network of more than 33,000 analogue assets across over 125 municipalities in the Netherlands.

By adding Bereik DOOH’s digital network, Centercom’s digital offering will be expanded with additional locations and contact moments for DOOH campaigns. This will further strengthen the combination of nationwide reach and hyper-local activation within a single network.

As of 1 December 2025, Bureau Van Vliet will handle the advertising sales for the titles Beet and Music Traveler. Beet is aimed at angling enthusiasts and is published six times a year, with an average readership of 25,000. Distribution is via subscriptions and single-copy sales through fishing tackle shops and kiosks/bookstores in the Netherlands and Belgium. Online, Beet is present via beet.nl, social channels and newsletters.

Music Traveler focuses on music and travel. The magazine features stories about music that moves us and destinations that breathe rock ’n’ roll, with extensive space for photography, illustrations and comics. Its audience consists mainly of men (65%) aged 35–75, financially well-off and highly educated, with an interest in serious music (blues/rock/folk/country/americana) and travel.

As of 1 January 2026, 10 Sales & Management takes over the digital product platform Bouwproducten.nl from Geomares. With this acquisition, owner Dennis de Jong begins publishing a digital product platform for the construction sector.

Bouwproducten.nl reaches 22,000 monthly visitors and targets construction professionals such as architects, property developers, work planners, estimators, buyers, technical draftspeople, and (small) contractors. In addition, the platform is relevant for professionals working at contractors, construction companies, architectural firms, consultancy agencies, installation companies, housing associations, real estate developers, and government bodies.

LINDA. will introduce LINDA.mini in 2026, a new brand aimed at expectant mothers and parents with children aged 0 to 4. The content reflects the phase of early parenthood, combining relatable stories with context and practical tips, while focusing on both the family and the woman herself.

Lotte Bastiaansen has been appointed editor-in-chief of LINDA.mini. With this launch, LINDA. further broadens its portfolio: alongside LINDA.meiden (18–28 years) and LINDA. (broad adult audience), LINDA.mini specifically targets expectant and young parents in a new stage of life.

LINDA.mini will be rolled out cross-media via an app, website and social channels. In addition, a print magazine will be published twice a year. The title has an average print run of 45,000 copies and an average brand reach of 500,000 across print, online and social channels. Advertising sales are handled by Mood for Magazines B.V. | LINDA.

ProMedia Publishers will launch the new technical trade magazine Aftersales Techniek on 27 January 2026. The magazine will be published eleven times a year and targets workshop technicians. It is issued by Minervum Multi Media BV/ProMedia and serves as the technical sister title of Aftersales Magazine.

Aftersales Techniek will be distributed in a print run of 12,500 copies and will reach all companies in the sector that have a workshop. Through this trade magazine, the ATC (Automobile Technical Club) will be able to bring its information to the attention of more companies in the sector than before.

As of 1 December 2025, DPG Media has transferred the advertising sales of Qmusic and Joe in the Netherlands to Ad Alliance. This makes Ad Alliance the sales house responsible for all audio and video sales activities within DPG Media in the Netherlands — for TV and streaming and, with the addition of Qmusic and Joe, also for radio. The combined radio and TV sales operations are led by Ton Rozestraten.

The integration is part of the new strategy and top-level structure that DPG Media is implementing following the acquisition of RTL Nederland. Within this structure, the advertising organisation in the Netherlands operates with separate but collaborating sales houses. Ad Alliance is responsible for audio and video; publishing advertising (print & digital) is managed by Barbara Hazenberg.

Qmusic and Joe fall under the Audio & Video business unit, led by Sven Sauvé. Within this unit, Dirk Lodewyckx is responsible for the radio organisation in the Netherlands and Belgium. Supporting departments from DPG Media and Ad Alliance — such as Partnerships, Intelligence & Insights, Operations and B2B Communications — will be merged. It is important to note that the plans, and the teams involved, will be further developed in the coming period, during which the required employee participation procedures will be carefully followed.

AutoScout24 has announced that the websites AutoTrack and Gaspedaal.nl will be incorporated into the AutoScout24 Group. Both platforms will continue to operate under their own brand names, and customers will retain the option to choose on which portals they offer their vehicles.

With this step, the local market knowledge and strong position of AutoTrack and Gaspedaal are combined with the technological infrastructure and European scale of AutoScout24. The integration is intended to lead to improved support for both car dealers and consumers.

Sander van den Hout, CEO of AutoTrack and Gaspedaal, states that the brands have built a solid foundation in the Netherlands and that, as part of AutoScout24, they can continue to grow with broader solutions and an increased reach.

Recently, Curvylicious Magazine was launched, a new lifestyle magazine aimed at women with fuller figures. The magazine is published twice a year and contains over 60 pages of interviews, features, makeovers, columns and background stories. The second edition will be released on 22 April 2026. The magazine aims to offer curvy women a place where they are seen and celebrated, with optimistic and inspiring content about fashion, beauty, self-image and daily life.

Curvylicious is an initiative of three entrepreneurs from the plus-size sector: Nathalie de Lange (fashion stores Tutola & Kerels), graphic designer Judith Hut (Dith Design) and journalist Debora Boomsma (Bodé Media). Together, they developed a magazine that looks beyond fashion alone and is intended to build a community for women with curves.

Entrepreneurs in the plus-size sector can participate through various advertising and advertorial opportunities, targeting an audience that directly matches their customer base.

The B2B department of De Limburger and VIA weekkrant has been using the same edition names as the editorial team since 6 November. This change prevents different names from being used for the same editions, which could cause confusion among advertisers.

At De Limburger, the edition De Limburger Westelijke Mijnstreek is now called De Limburger Sittard-Geleen, and De Limburger Parkstad Limburg is now referred to as De Limburger Parkstad. At VIA weekkrant, the edition VIA Westelijke Mijnstreek has been renamed VIA Sittard-Geleen, and VIA Parkstad Limburg becomes VIA Parkstad.

Ad Alliance will introduce several changes to its TV offering in 2026. Various month and product indices will be adjusted, and the TV Target Group Package Plus and Billboard Target Group Package Plus will be discontinued. New ratecard options will be added, including Inhaakbillboards and the Billboard Theme Channel Package. Special TV advertising - such as Identspots and Framesplits - on RTL4 will become slightly more expensive.

Online video will also see several updates in 2026. Alongside reduced CPMs, a new package - Actuality & Entertainment - will be introduced, focused on news, current affairs and entertainment content across DPG titles, RTL.nl and RTL content on YouTube. Display and Addressable TV will become more affordable, while the rate for the Pause Ad on SAVOD will increase.

With these updates, Ad Alliance offers media planners more flexibility, refined targeting options and a better fit with the evolving video market.

Jumbo Branded Shelves are shoppable banners in the webshop and app, on category and search pages, among others, where a brand is given a digital shelf on which products can be ordered directly. Branded Shelves are offered exclusively through Jumbo's self-service platform.

The updated Branded Shelves 2.0 also offers managed service campaigns via a Self-Service Specialist, multi-brand managed campaigns based on a theme, and an additional placement on the ‘Previously purchased’ page.

The cinema portfolio of Jean Mineur Mediavision BV has recently been expanded with four new locations. Kok CinemaxX Harderwijk and Kok CinemaxX Lelystad have recently joined the network. Filmhuis Alkmaar will be added at the beginning of December 2025, followed by Vue Amsterdam in mid-December 2025. This further increases coverage across various regions.

These new locations fall under the regular buying routes. A number of options include Global Vision, where a commercial is shown simultaneously in all cinemas within the network; Selectief, which allows one or more cinemas to be purchased individually; Film Follow, where a campaign follows a specific film; and Flex Vision, which offers flexibility to start and stop campaigns on a daily basis.

From 2026, De Nieuwe Koers (DNK) will be included free of charge ten times a year with the Saturday newspaper of Nederlands Dagblad, published by Nedag B.V., for subscribers who receive the print edition. DNK subscribers without an ND subscription will receive the Saturday newspaper and online access for free during the first year, and at a discount thereafter. The collaboration significantly increases DNK’s reach to over 100,000 readers. Both editorial teams will remain independent. In terms of content, DNK will remain largely the same, with a few new sections. Both editors-in-chief emphasize that the newspaper and magazine complement each other well. The publication will be delivered on the first Saturday of each month, except in January and August.

From February 2026, Stijlvol Wonen will be published under the new name vtwonen Design. The name change applies to both the Netherlands and Belgium and is part of DPG Media’s strategy—publisher and operator of the title—to bring all home and interior brands in its portfolio together under the strong vtwonen label.

The change concerns the name only; the editorial concept and target audience remain unchanged. The magazine continues to focus on enthusiasts of design living and exclusive interiors. The first issue of vtwonen Design will be published on 5 February 2026.

After 2025, KampeerKampioen will discontinue its print edition.
ANWB has chosen to provide campers with inspiration and information exclusively online from then on, reaching a much larger audience in a sustainable way. On anwb.nl/kamperen and anwb.nl/kampeerkampioen, ANWB will continue to share stories, tips, and inspiration for camping enthusiasts — now with more space for up-to-date and interactive content.

The advertising operations of ANWB Media have recently been transferred to PiNCAMP, the online camping platform of ADAC, the German sister organization of the ANWB. Through this collaboration, advertisers can reach both Dutch and international campers via PiNCAMP.

Bauer Media Outdoor launches SUPR Spot, a new retail media format that combines digital screens with physical branding panels at supermarket entrances. The concept enables advertisers to make their brand communication visible at the moment consumers begin their shopping.

SUPR Spot is part of Create, the creative label of Bauer Media Outdoor. It adds an extra format to the retail media portfolio, focusing on brand activation and promotion close to the consumer’s point of decision within the shopping environment.

As of August 29, 2025, Shell Netherlands has transferred all retail media activities to RetailMedia.One, which becomes exclusively responsible for managing the media channels at Shell service stations across the Netherlands. The partnership includes the sale of existing digital screens, audio advertising, and new measurement products. Shell attracts approximately 2.5 million visitors each week, who spend an average of over eight minutes on-site. The screen network will expand in the coming period from over 650 to more than 1,000 displays by early 2026, including new installations at electric charging points. RetailMedia.One previously developed the ‘station takeover’ format together with Shell, allowing advertisers to use all screens at a single location.

After more than six years of absence, De Krommenieër returns. The pilot issue was published on September 27, and the first official edition will follow in November 2025. The weekly paper targets residents of Krommenie and its surroundings, featuring local news about the town and its people. It will be distributed door-to-door every Thursday in Krommenie and nearby areas, with a circulation of 15,000 copies. The relaunch is a collaboration between Uitgeverij De Uitkomst (De Rijp) and Uitkijkpost Media bv (Heiloo), under the new publisher Uit! Media vof.

As of January 1, 2026, Elma Media will manage the exploitation of all communication channels of Vee&Logistiek Nederland, the industry association representing professionals in the livestock logistics sector. This marks an expansion of the collaboration that began in May 2025 with the production and distribution of the monthly magazine Vee&Logistiek.

From the same date, Elma will also take on the exploitation, printing, and distribution of the magazine of V&VN Dialyse & Nefrologie, the professional group for dialysis and nephrology specialists. This collaboration follows the earlier start with V&VN Ambulancezorg.

On 3 September 2025, BDUmedia launched Ede Stad Plus, a new digital daily within the renewed Ede Stad app. The title appears six days a week, every day at 12:00 p.m., featuring an interactive, browsable edition. Subscribers receive 10 to 15 local articles written by the publisher’s own reporters, complemented by regional pieces and ANP news from the Netherlands and abroad.

Ede Stad Plus is not an e-paper, but an independent digital daily with its own editorial formula. To support this expansion, BDUmedia has hired additional journalists and editors to deliver more local news and background features.

The weekly print edition of Ede Stad continues to be distributed door-to-door, while Ede Stad Plus serves as a paid, in-depth digital extension of the existing Ede Stad and BDUmedia news offerings.

Since September 29, Voetbal International has been available through a television app. With VI TV, a so-called FAST channel, viewers can watch free, non-stop football news, highlights, talk shows, and analyses. The channel can be accessed via Samsung TV Plus. VI TV is a collaboration between the editorial team of Voetbal International (with PXR), media agency WPP Media, and Talpa Media.

NextDay Advertising, part of publisher PXR, manages advertising sales for Voetbal International (VI). With the addition of VI TV, VI now offers a broad multimedia portfolio: vi.nl, the magazine Voetbal International, VI Pro, VI Kids, social media channels, podcasts, and video productions.

Wereldhave has appointed Ocean Outdoor Netherlands as its exclusive media exploitation partner in eleven Dutch shopping centers. Starting in early 2026, more than 150 new digital screens and totems will be installed in centers such as Cityplaza (Nieuwegein), CityCenter Tilburg, and Stadshart Zoetermeer.

The partnership provides brands and advertisers with a powerful channel offering both national and regional reach, while visitors benefit from an enriched shopping experience. Wereldhave attracts nearly 69 million visitors annually to its centers and collaborates with tenants such as Albert Heijn, Jumbo, HEMA, C&A, and Basic-Fit. With the new screens, Ocean strengthens its retail network ‘The Loop’.

Since issue 4, published on December 8, Cross Media Nederland B.V. has been responsible for advertising sales for MemoRad, the magazine of the Dutch Society for Radiology (NVvR). The quarterly magazine reaches 2,200 radiologists in the Netherlands with professional articles and regular columns. It is delivered to the private addresses of the target group, available both in print and online, and is the only NVvR channel open to advertising.

From September 24, NRC will publish a weekly in-depth interview with a party leader in the run-up to the Dutch general election on October 29. The conversations, lasting over an hour, are conducted by the political editorial team and are available as a podcast, as video on NRC’s YouTube channel, and as articles on nrc.nl and in the newspaper. According to editor-in-chief Patricia Veldhuis, NRC aims with this format to reach not only its traditional readers but also younger audiences via platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
