Hillenaar Outdoor neemt OOHA Media over

OOHA Media Acquired by Hillenaar Outdoor

Last July 14, Hillenaar Outdoor acquired OOHA Media. As a result, the 'OOHA Media' brand was discontinued and fourteen digital screens spread across key locations such as the A2, A58 and A12 motorways were added to Hillenaar Outdoor's existing network. Following this transaction, Hillenaar Outdoor now operates a total of 60 digital screens along Dutch freeways.

Scala Crossmedia acquires Textilia and Schoenvisie

Scala Crossmedia recently acquired the titles Textilia and Schoenvisie from publisher Afdeling M. This acquisition enables Scala to now reach professionals in the fashion and footwear industry. Textilia is a fashion trade magazine that comes out ten times a year and keeps professionals informed about the latest trends and market developments. In addition to the print edition, Textilia also includes a website and a newsletter. Schoenvisie informs and inspires readers about market developments, trends and consumer behavior in the shoe industry. The magazine is published eight times a year. Schoenvisie, like Textilia, offers advertising space in the magazine, on the website and in the newsletter.

Commercial radio licenses auctioned

Commercial radio station licenses have been auctioned again after 20 years. Talpa, DPG Media, Mediahuis, BNR and newcomer Financial News Radio have received licenses to broadcast nationwide on FM frequencies until 2035. Stations SLAM! and Sublime will disappear from FM. The five winning companies divide nine nationwide packages among themselves. Talpa retains its three radio licenses and continues with Radio 538, Radio 10 and Sky Radio. DPG Media buys two frequencies and comes up with a new radio brand alongside Qmusic. SLAM! and Sublime will become digital radio stations. Financial News Radio, a newcomer, replaces Sublime and will become a (news) station. The new channel format will take effect from next September 1 and run through 2035.

Auction of FM frequencies begins

The auction of FM frequencies for commercial radio stations began July 4, 2023. Nine licenses, currently owned by 100% NL, BNR, Qmusic, Radio 10, Radio 538, Radio Veronica, Sky Radio, SLAM! and Sublime, may change hands. The auction will last for several days. The Trade and Industry Appeals Tribunal ruled last year that the national FM frequencies should be redistributed. The government has limited the number of frequencies for commercial radio providers to a maximum of three. Redistribution of the licenses must be completed by next September 1 , and the auction covers a 12-year period.

NOM circulation figures 2022 Q2 to 2023 Q1 in Retriever

The new NOM circulation figures 2022 Q2 to 2023 Q1 have been published in Retriever. NOM collects, monitors and certifies print circulation of news media, magazines and trade magazines. Over 200 titles are affiliated in the circulation register; they represent about 90% of all media spending in print media. NOM circulation publications are based on a rolling annual average of publisher statements. Publishers report average quarterly figures and NOM checks these figures and publishes a moving weighted annual average four times a year.

Ocean Outdoor recently installed 3 new large-format digital screens in Dordrecht, Capelle aan den IJssel and Hoofddorp. The screens in the Wereldhave centres are equipped with the latest innovative techniques in DOOH. Wereldhave's shopping centres offer Ocean Outdoor advertisers the opportunity to build up a large reach among shoppers (shoppers). At the same time, the addition of Ocean Outdoor's large digital screens enables Wereldhave to interactively communicate with its visitors.

Transavia inflight magazine 'Enjoy' to &C Media B.V.3

As of today, &C Media is responsible for the development, production and advertising sales of Transavia's magazine Enjoy. Enjoy is published four times a year and reaches almost 10 million travellers during Transavia Netherlands' more than 57,000 annual flights. As of next September 1, the first edition of the magazine will be available on planes as a result of the new partnership between &C Media and Transavia.
