GrootMedia launches the door-to-door newspaper Groot Leeuwarden

GrootMedia will launch the free local newspaper Groot Leeuwarden on 22 January 2026. Groot Leeuwarden offers daily up-to-date local news via the website grootleeuwarden.nl and publishes a monthly print edition featuring in-depth stories. The newspaper is distributed door-to-door every month within the municipality of Leeuwarden, with a circulation of 55,000 copies. It focuses on stories from the region, by and for all residents. The price for a full-colour full-page (1/1 page) advertisement is €1,250. Groot Leeuwarden is part of the GrootMedia network, which includes several Frisian titles.
