On 3 September 2025, BDUmedia launched Ede Stad Plus, a new digital daily within the renewed Ede Stad app. The title appears six days a week, every day at 12:00 p.m., featuring an interactive, browsable edition. Subscribers receive 10 to 15 local articles written by the publisher’s own reporters, complemented by regional pieces and ANP news from the Netherlands and abroad.
Ede Stad Plus is not an e-paper, but an independent digital daily with its own editorial formula. To support this expansion, BDUmedia has hired additional journalists and editors to deliver more local news and background features.
The weekly print edition of Ede Stad continues to be distributed door-to-door, while Ede Stad Plus serves as a paid, in-depth digital extension of the existing Ede Stad and BDUmedia news offerings.
