A business model for providing over-the-top content (OTT)

Transactional video on demand (TVOD) is a service without subscription costs or registration fees, you only pay for access to specific content. This often relates to movies, but sports events are also offered via TVOD.

TVOD can be divided into 2 categories: Electronic Sell Through, where the customer gains permanent access to the content, and Download To Rent, where the customers gains access to the content for a limited amount of time.

An example of Transactional Video on Demand(TVOD) is Pathé Thuis. You pay for each movie you watch.
